Popular 2 bedroom accommodation on great location

Positive: The bedrooms were modern and comfortable. Everything was clean. Neighborhood was quiet and nice. The apartment is on the third floor with quite steep stairs. Negative: One of the bedrooms had windows that could not be opened and it was very hot to sleep in there with the warm weather.

Positive: Sehr gepflegt, ruhige Lage, sehr netter und fürsorglicher Host. Negative: Uns hat rundum alles gefallen!

Despite accommodation problems, we enjoyed Amsterdam, especially our visit to the tulip fields. Positive: Beds were comfy. Property basically furnished. Good shower and useful to have separate toilet. Negative: Biggest problem - NO WI-FI. The internet details supplied were not recognised so we had no connection. Proved impossible to connect with the owner. Window in second bedroom wouldn’t close and it was very windy weather, so the room was cold and wind blew across the bed all night. It also meant that the doors kept banging so we had to block them with shoes! Bedside table had a lamp, but nowhere to plug it in. 2 mugs supplied for hot drinks, but 1 didn’t have a handle! Stairs very steep and dark. Not suitable for anyone with a disability. Not easy access to main town as it is at least 2 tram rides. We used No.19 and then the metro, so buy GVB ticket for duration of your stay.

Peaceful. Positive: Very clean, great area and extremely comfy beds with a lovely view. Negative: Maybe it could have had a tv but we weren’t too bothered that it didn’t have one.
